Public Service Announcement Guidelines

103 WKDF and 104-5 The Zone welcome the chance to help local public service organizations and clients with their events, activities and campaigns. We donate hundreds of hours of air time each year as well as website impressions to local organizations like yours to support the middle Tennessee/southern Kentucky region.

Here are some guidelines to assist your organization in getting your information included as part of our public service campaigns.

Community Events
We promote events via our websites, 103WKDF.Com and 1045TheZone.Com, via the What’s Happening Page. Submit these events to
cindy.francis@citcomm.com a minimum of four weeks in advance. Who, what, when, and where Information should be highlighted in bullet point form.

Both stations run on-air announcements to push listeners to these pages.

Website Public Service Announcements
Citadel Nashville dedicates commercial inventory to local public service announcements each day on 103WKDF.Com and 1045TheZone.Com, where thousands of middle Tennesseans listen each day. You can provide produced (:30) announcements or Citadel Nashville will write and produce such announcements free of charge. Send announcements and copy points at least three weeks in advance.

Organizations interested in such announcements should send announcements or copy points to cindy.francis@citcomm.com.

Campaign/Event Sponsorship
Citadel Nashville partners with a selected number of local organizations each year for charitable events and campaigns. We can assist organizations with on-air announcements, website exposure, and presence on the day of the event.

Organizations interested in partnering with Citadel Nashville on public service events and/or campaigns should contact
cindy.francis@citcomm.com. The request will be channeled through our program and promotions directors. To provide us with the maximum time to assist you, we ask that you provide a minimum of four months lead time on these types of sponsorships.

Zone About Town & Focus
103 WKDF and 104-5 The Zone dedicate time each weekend for a more in-depth exploration of local issues. “Zone About Town” and “Focus”, give public service organizations the chance to focus middle Tennessee residents on issues of importance.

Organizations interested in suggesting a topic and providing guests for an upcoming feature should contact cindy.francis@citcomm.com.
