Mark's enthusiasm for sports led him to Ithaca College in New York, where he majored in history with a minor in political science.
Mark's first job in sports was in Kansas, where he covered Triple-A baseball. From there, it was Evansville, Indiana where he was a sportscaster for WFIE -TV.
In 1986 he trekked his way to Music City, where he balanced sports reporting and weekend sports anchoring for WTVF News Channel 5.
Now as one of the hosts for The Wake Up Zone, 104-5 The Zone's award-winning morning sports talk show, Mark is known for his clever writing and enthusiastic delivery. When you listen to him, it's easy to see why some say he must wear out his suits from the inside out!
You can also hear Mark on the weekends as the host of Titans Radio's Final Drive.
Mark's love of sports doesn't end when the work day does. He loves to watch his New York Yankees, plays a mean game of golf, and is a good tennis player. He is active in Special Olympics, which he finds incredibly rewarding. In case you were wondering, there is a special lady in Mark's life - his black cat, Maggie.
