The first annual Bear Crawl 5k in Mt Juliet
Support the Mt. Juliet Wrestling Club and get some exercise! September 18th starting at 8am you'll participate in a 5K race around the Mt. Juliet High School premises. 2010 Cork in the Fork
Benefitting Save the Franklin Theatre, Happy Tales Humane and Leipers Fork Community Association the Leipers Fork Community Association offers an evening of wine-tasting up and down its historic neighborhood of shops and eateries. This year's celebration includes more wines, foods and tasting stations, each complete with its own live music.

Donate to the Metro Nashville Disaster Response Fund
In partnership with Davidson County's Office of Emergency Management, The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee has activated its Metro Nashville Disaster Response Fund to help to those affected by the May 1, 2010 floods.

The Nashville General Hospital Center for Lifestyle & Health Management is a FREE program designed to reduce the impact of chronic illnesses among citizens of Davidson County. The center’s program addresses individualized lifestyle risk reduction that takes people beyond “knowing” to “doing.” It is geared toward helping people making lifestyle changes aimed at weight reduction, stress management, nutrition, exercise and fitness, and smoking cessation. The program has been proven to help lower the risk for heart attack, stroke, diabetes, and other preventable chronic diseases, as well as improve overall health. Youth Villages Is Looking For Foster Parents
Want to be a hero? You don’t have to wear a cape or leap a tall building. Youth Villages is looking for people with big hearts to become heroes – foster parents – to children and teens in Davidson County. Foster homes are particularly needed for children ages 12-18. The Nashville Rescue Mission Has Your Chance To Make A Difference
Volunteers are an essential part of the Nashville Rescue Mission's team. Since 1954, Mission volunteers have helped change lives in every capacity from serving over 452,000 meals each year and building playgrounds to providing thousands of hours of medical care and tutoring to Recovery Program clients. Serve Meals; Speak, and give presentations; Assist our teachers, Chaplains and counselors with tutoring and/or mentoring; Help with building maintenance, landscaping and/or electrical work; Run a food or clothing drive. Assist The Young People Of Middle Tennessee
Reading Partners, a program that assists students (PreK-4) in Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools in acquiring reading skills and increasing their enjoyment of literature, seeks volunteers to read with students. One-on-One Readers spend 30 minutes a week providing individual reading assistance, while Classroom Readers spend 30 minutes twice a month reading aloud to a classroom of students.
