2019 NFL Draft Coming to Nashville

The National Football League announced Wednesday that the 2019 NFL Draft is coming to Music City.

Nashville has proven its ability to throw a party — and the league got behind it. It could be because some NFL officials were in Nashville for the Titans uniform unveiling and saw how the city rallies around its teams; either way, we’re excited.

The convenience factor of having the Draft in Nashville definitely played a part. All of the NFL sites will be within walking distance of one another. Some of these spots are: Nissan Stadium, lower Broadway, Ascend Amphitheater, the Music City Center, Schermerhorn Symphony Center, the Country Music Hall of Fame and Music City Walk of Fame Park.

Nashville was one of five finalists for hosting the draft in 2019 or 2020 — other cities included: Kansas City, Denver, Las Vegas and Cleveland.

The dates for next year’s draft are April 25-27.
