104-5 The Zone is excited to have former Nashville Predator’s forward JP Dumont speak at the 9th Annual SportsFest 2018 as a part of the Planet Fitness Speaker Series!
JP Dumont’s success was instant with the Preds. He scored on his first shot at goal in his first game in Nashville. JP Dumont played five seasons with the Predators, helping them reach the playoffs four times. Dumont has 267 career points in Nashville, which ranks fifth best in franchise history. He assisted on 174 goals, which ranks seventh in the franchise.
Dumont was drafted third overall in the 1996 NHL Entry Draft by the New York Islanders, but was quickly traded to the Chicago Blackhawks. Before joining the Predators, he also played for the Buffalo Sabres.
JP is married to his wife, Kristin, and they have four daughters: Ella, Ava, Laila, and Mya.
