Projected College Football Playoff participants Texas and Notre Dame agreed to play a home-and-home series in 2028 and 2029.The agreement announced Tuesday features the Longhorns visiting South Bend, Ind., on Sept. 9, 2028, and the Fighting Irish heading to Austin on Sept. 22, 2029.Notre Dame owns a 9-3 lead in the all-time series that dates back to 1913. Texas won the most recent meeting in a 50-47 double-overtime thriller in Austin on Sept. 4, 2016.
