Robert Wright III drew a foul and knocked down both free throws of a one-and-one with 2.2 seconds left to break a tie, and then Norchad Omier hit a free throw in the final second to lift Baylor to a 61-58 victory over TCU on Tuesday night in Fort Worth, Texas.Omier posted a game-high 19 points with 12 rebounds for his sixth consecutive double-double. VJ Edgecombe finished with 18 points, and Wright rounded out the Bears’ double figure scorers with 11 points and seven assists.The Bears (18-12, 10-9 Big 12) won their fifth straight game at TCU (16-14, 9-10), which defeated Baylor earlier this season in Waco.The victory helps the Bears solidify themselves as NCAA Tournament worthy while the Frogs are in a situation where they essentially have to win the Big 12 tournament to reach a fourth straight NCAA Tournament.TCU was led by Noah Reynolds’ 16 points. Trazarien White finished with 11 points.It was a back-and-forth affair all night. Baylor jumped out to an early nine-point lead in the first half, but TCU battled back to tie the game at 35-35 by the break.
